METHODOLOGY FOR IEA & IEE

Objective of the Proposal

IEE/ IEA covers the objective of the proposal is to implement the Project in anticipated Impacts by the Proposed Project. Impact of the proposal for the construction work activities, Impact on Environment, Impact on Human life, and Population Pressure.

Environmental Management Plan:
Proposing the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) in the IEE report with issues, possible impacts, method of their mitigation measures, monitoring method and responsible implementing agencies. Developing different Monitoring Indicators on physical biological, socioeconomic and cultural environment.. Incorporation estimation cost for environmental monitoring into the detailed design document of the project.

Public consultation: Public consultation is an essential part of IEE process for the familiarization of local people or stakeholders as the proposed plan. Upon the initiation of the IEE study, major public consultation meetings are held to understand and identify the real issues of concerns of people/stakeholders related to the Project. The consultative meetings were organized with the representation from stakeholders, and local people within.

Conclusion: Based on the analysis of benefits and assessments of implementing mitigation measures, the proposal is very relevant for implementation. The socio-economic condition implementation analysis of the project and significance towards contribution.
